Sima Baktas is an attorney-at-law specializing in IT Law, International Trade Law, and Blockchain, Cryptocurrency Law. She graduated from Bahcesehir University Faculty of Law in 2013 and completed her undergraduate studies at Anadolu University in Public Administration. After graduating, Baktas studied American Law at Fordham University in New York. in 2014, Baktas founded GlobalB Law. The firm partnered with New York-based CKR Law LLP in 2018.

She currently manages Law Agenda (www.law-agenda.com) an initiative for law students and lawyers, and frequently hosts blockchain-related summits and venues throughout the Mediterranean region. Additionally, Baktas is a qualified EU project trainer and instructor with over 12 years of experience in this field. She has been active in more than 20 Civil Society Projects and has been an instructor in more than 50 PCM pieces of training. Currently, she continues to work in the fields of both attorneyship and training within the scope of GlobalB Law Firm and GlobalB Company that she has founded.
