SPORTFIVE HELPS GOLF CLIENT JON RAHM SCORE NEW AND EXPANDED PARTNERSHIPS WITH BLUE YONDER, CALLAWAY, AND SANTANDER

 

Two-time Major Golf Champion and SPORTFIVE Golf client Jon Rahm has secured a new partnership with Santander, while extending his relationships with existing partners Blue Yonder and Callaway.

Jon Rahm’s great success (five wins and one Major championship since Fall of 2022) have led to him becoming the highest paid golf endorser globally as well. On and off the golf course, the best brands around the world continue to see the global icon Jon Rahm has become.

SPORTFIVE has represented Rahm since he turned professional in 2016.  Since then, he has become one of the world’s elite golfers, amassing 21 career wins, including Major Championships at the 2021 US Open and 2023 Masters, and has been ranked No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings for 52 weeks.

First, Rahm reached a new long-term partnership extension with Callaway Golf, one of the industry’s leaders in equipment design, performance, and innovation.  Rahm will continue to play a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey equipment, wear Callaway headwear, TravisMathew apparel and footwear, and support Topgolf’s global golf entertainment venue business. Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp. will leverage the partnership towards the Company’s strategic goal of strengthening their position as the leader in golf equipment globally, as well as their leadership positions across the modern golf ecosystem.

Rahm recently reached a new multiyear partnership with Banco Santander (Santander Bank in the US), a leading commercial bank with meaningful presence in Europe and the Americas, 164 million customers and one of the largest banks in the world by market capitalization. Rahm is now wearing the Santander logo on the right sleeve of his golf apparel during all competitions, which began at last week’s Open Championship, and will be part of the bank’s events and advertising. The sponsorship will also be a powerful commercial platform for Rahm to interact with Santander customers through hospitality and meet and greets. Rahm is expected to help the Santander brand increase its visibility worldwide, especially in North America, where Santander has a significant presence and where he plays most of his competitive schedule.

Finally, it was announced that Rahm has reached a multiyear extension of his current partnership with Blue Yonder, the leader in digital supply chain transformations. Rahm will continue to serve as brand ambassador for Blue Yonder and will wear the brand’s logo on the chest of his golf shirt during all competitive events. Rahm will champion the pursuit of excellence on behalf of Blue Yonder through joint marketing campaigns and promotions.

Gáspár Incze is the youngest member of the team. Currently a university student, he is studying management at Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Gáspár participated in several social initiatives, having volunteered as a tour guide at the Teleki Castle in the village of Gornești and currently working at ÉRTED, a Transylvanian Hungarian student initiative committed to community work, mainly in the cultural, scientific, economic, and environmental areas.
