Panasonic TOUGHBOOK and ProGlove will be showcasing their mobile computing solutions for the logistics industry at the upcoming IntraLogisteX event on March 28-29th.
This event, held at the NEC in Birmingham, is the largest intralogistics exhibition in the UK and provides solutions to boost efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.
Panasonic TOUGHBOOK and ProGlove offer rugged mobile computing solutions that can be used as a stand-alone scanning solution or as part of a voice-picking solution for warehouse operations, inventory checking, and retail. The ProGlove MARK 2 smart glove wearable barcode scanner will be featured at the event. This solution replaces handheld and ring scanners, allowing operators to remain hands-free and complete other tasks with full dexterity.
The ProGlove MARK 2 can be integrated seamlessly with Panasonic’s flexible voice-picking solution, which includes a Bluetooth headset, rugged tablets, a built-in barcode scanner or the ProGlove MARK 2, a holster or shoulder strap, and a TOUGHBOOK Omnia custom voice application.
Panasonic TOUGHBOOK’s sector lead for Retail, Logistics & Manufacturing in the UK and Ireland, Mike Willett, highlighted the critical role of mobile devices in modern warehouses and expressed excitement about discussing the latest challenges and opportunities in the logistics industry with partners and customers at IntraLogisteX.
