Lexsoft Systems, an IT provider, just announced that it achieved the ISO 27001 certification for its Madrid office
The ISO 27001 certification will verify the company’s information security management system. This means the provision of consulting services, including design, maintenance, development, and support; and implementation of software specialized in knowledge-related data and management. It is an informational and security-based verification.
The ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information and security management system. Both cyber resilience and data protection are covered through the certification applicable verifications.
As the CEO of Lexsoft Systems stated: “Protecting all data – be that of our clients, our partners or our own – is a top business priority, for business operation and continuity. This certification should reassure all the organizations that we work with, and especially our clients, of our processes and utmost commitment to keeping their data safe,”
Carlos García-Egocheaga added: “This certification authenticates that we take all the necessary measures to proactively mitigate IT security risks, protect and secure data, diligently following a best practice approach to information security management. We are also among only a handful of iManage partners to have achieved this certification.”
Lexsoft’s global headquarters are in Madrid, so the certification has been achieved in this office, however, the same information security management will be applicable across the other locations of the company in Colombia and Mexico. The company plans to initiate ISO 27001 certification process in the Colombia office, then in Mexico.
Lexsoft is in an expansion state in its information security management system. This commitment will help to grow its clients’ patronage. The company is also committed to achieving the ISO/IEC 27017:2015 certificate for information security controls applicable to provisions and cloud services.
