SCRA-backed, Charleston-based start-up enables Workforce Logiq to bring employers predictive intelligence for better, faster hiring decisions
CHARLESTON, S.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA), a public, non-profit corporation fueling South Carolina’s innovation economy, today announces predictive analytics and AI software company ENGAGE Talent, one of its SC Launch, Inc. portfolio companies, has been acquired by Workforce Logiq, a global provider of workforce management software and services to large corporations. Workforce Logiq is owned by global investment firm The Carlyle Group.
The acquisition will provide Workforce Logiq customers with exclusive access to ENGAGE Talent’s data science, AI capabilities and proprietary benchmarks. The intelligence gives employers a predictive head start to discover, attract and retain the market’s top talent.
ENGAGE joined SCRA’s entrepreneurial program, SC Launch, in 2015. The program, which provides startups with the resources necessary to grow and scale – including mentoring, grants, and investments — was instrumental to ENGAGE’s growth and development.

The acquisition of ENGAGE gives Workforce Logiq a universal sourcing solution that can address all elements of companies’ talent acquisition and retention programs (RPO), contingent worker management (MSP) and freelance / “gig” workers (FMS).
