Customers can call in for book suggestions and recommendations

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#books–Books-A-Million is launching a new ‘Talk to a Bookseller’ service to help guests curate their reading lists. Starting Monday, April 20, customers can call 1-866-544-1468 to speak to a bookseller and discuss authors, book club recommendations, best-selling new releases and much more. Books-A-Million has category specific experts waiting to offer suggestions and have conversations about what they love using this new program.

“We miss our customers, and our new ‘Talk to a Bookseller’ service is meant to keep that person-to-person connection intact while many of our stores are closed,” said Scott Kappler, Chief Marketing Officer. “The communities we serve have come to rely on our in-store category experts, and this new service is just a small way for us to stay accessible to our guests and discuss what’s important to them – books.”

‘Talk to a Bookseller’ concierge service will be available from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. When guests dial 1-866-544-1468, a recorded phone prompt will connect them with a corresponding book category expert. Books-A-Million booksellers and industry experts will be answering incoming phone calls, ready to assist.
