COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sanborn, a leader in professional mapping and GIS products and services, announces that it has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the General Services Administration (GSA) for “Earth Observation Solutions.” The Multiple Award BPA is a 5-year contract with an estimated cumulative value of $225 million, in effect until February 2024.
The earth observation solutions special item number (SIN) 132-41, organized under the GSA IT Schedule 70, was created in partnership with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in support of the Commercial Initiative to Buy Operationally Responsive GEOINT (CIBORG).
The fundamental scope of the Earth Observation Solutions BPAs is to provide a streamlined process for Federal, State, Regional, Local and Tribal governments to procure geographic information products and services via cooperative purchase agreements.
