But in the most resounding testament yet to his campaign’s growing powerhouse status, O’Callaghan’s team proudly announces its exceptional performance in this latest fundraising period. During what experts consider the most challenging quarter of the race, the campaign not only surpassed all primary contenders in fundraising but now boasts the highest cash reserves among all campaigns vying for the seat, including incumbent David Schweikert.
Despite joining the race a month into the quarter and lacking a fundraising track record, a political network, or any prior campaign infrastructure, O’Callaghan managed to outraise the competition by amassing over half a million dollars in individual contributions in just 60 days. To make up for not being in the race in the prior quarter, O’Callaghan injected $630,000 of his own money into the campaign.
