BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Working Daughter today announced its list of The Best Places To Work For Working Daughters. The list recognizes companies that support family caregivers and also raises awareness that businesses must do more to make caregiving and career compatible.

“The companies on this list understand that supporting working caregivers is a business imperative,” said Liz O’Donnell, Working Daughter founder. “While many companies have established initiatives to assist employees who are parents, it is equally critical to acknowledge and support employees who are caring for aging parents and other adult family members.”

More than 1 in 6 working Americans assist with the care of an elderly or disabled family member, relative, or friend. Seventy percent of those caregivers suffer work-related difficulties due to their dual roles. The cost to businesses from caregivers leaving the workforce is an estimated $3.3 billion.

This year’s honorees are:

Bristol Myers Squibb

Careforth

Cisco

Deloitte

DXC Technology
