TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Securian Canada, a leading insurance provider of innovative, life-ready insurance solutions in Canada, is proud to announce that Sofia Theodorou has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. Theodorou joined the company on July 17. She is part of the executive leadership team and reports to Nigel Branker, Chief Executive Officer.

Theodorou has more than 20 years of experience with large companies like PwC Canada, LoyaltyOne and Canadian Tire, transforming and leading high-performance teams. She has exceptional skills in HR strategy, talent management and culture building, and is now playing an important role in the execution of Securian Canada’s strategic plan.
