Federman & Sherwood Investigates Managed Care of North America, Inc. for Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#DataBreach–The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Managed Care of North America, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. On May 26, 2023, Managed Care of North America, Inc. notified patients that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. The company also listed over 100 affected organizations affected by the breach that include Arkansas Department of Human Services, the City of New York Management Benefit Fund, Florida Healthy Kids Corp., Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, Iowa Department of Human Services, Louisiana Department of Health, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, to name a few. According to Managed Care of North America, Inc., they determined that information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access from February 26, 2023 through March 7, 2023. Managed Care of North America, Inc. determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes: names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial information, medical information and health insurance information.
