Newfront expands growing network of producers with well-known Central and Southern California broker Jose Fontes
SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Newfront, the tech-driven insurance brokerage firm based in San Francisco, has welcomed Jose Fontes as Senior Vice President and P&C Producer. Fontes, located in Fresno, Calif., brings two decades of experience.
“Jose is masterful in providing innovative insurance solutions for the private equity real estate segment, including financial institutions, private lenders, real estate investment trusts, asset management, and loan servicing companies,” said Tom Whitenight, Newfront Executive Vice President and Bay Area Regional Managing Director. “His knowledge will allow Newfront to further its reach in these areas.”
Fontes joins Newfront from DiBuduo & DeFendis Insurance Brokers, LLC, where he focused on companies’ risk management needs at the IPO stage and beyond. He also specializes in protecting assets within the agriculture market throughout the state of California, including the Central Valley and Central Coast.

While Fontes mostly works with companies on their property and casualty risks, he also has experience in providing solutions around group health insurance.
