Immersive Multi-Sensory Nighttime Experience Concludes on March 5, 2023

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#FernbankMuseum–Thinkwell (A TAIT Company), a leading design and production agency creating immersive, content-driven experiences for brands and companies around the world, announced today that the limited-run of “WildWoods: AGLOW,” the nighttime experience at Fernbank Museum, will conclude on March 5, 2023. Guests can purchase tickets before time runs out at FernbankMuseum.org/AGLOW.

Located in Atlanta, GA, “WildWoods: AGLOW” completely transforms WildWoods, a 10-acre natural habitat behind the museum, into an artistically captivating, open-environment experience with glowing, interactive flora and fauna using the latest in immersive design and technology. High-quality projections, illuminations and authentic sounds immerse guests into a whimsical nature wonderland.

“WildWoods: AGLOW is at the cutting edge of personalized, immersive, and multi-sensory programming that is becoming the biggest trend in modern themed experiences,” said Émilie F. Grenier, head of creative at Thinkwell in Montréal. “Instead of creating a linear attraction that guides guests on a fixed path, we have instead made it an open-ended exploratory adventure where everyone discovers something new and personal at each turn.”

“WildWoods: AGLOW” offers a euphoric mix of glowing, interactive and spectacular scenery across five zones that each provide their own unique guest experience. Whether through oversized seeds glowing with interactive light, a quick glance at hidden nocturnal animals or incandescent mushrooms that create a musical symphony based on guest movement, the immersive experience is meant to highlight the magic and artistry of nature that is often missed or forgotten in a busy, modern world.

“Fernbank is surrounded by nature’s wonder and magic. This augmented experience is a nighttime adventure that reveals the amazing connections and interactions that happen among plants, animals–even roots, mushrooms and seeds–that can often go unnoticed,” said Sarah Arnold, Fernbank’s Director of Education. “We’ve enhanced the natural and dynamic environment of WildWoods with illumination, projection and sound to inspire curiosity about important pieces of our ecosystem that create nature’s dramatic beauty.”

“WildWoods: AGLOW” is for visitors of all ages and abilities, offered for only a few more evenings through March 5, 2023. Availability, times and prices vary by date with special discounts for Fernbank Members. Tickets range from $20.95-$39.95 and are available at FernbankMuseum.org/AGLOW.
