SmartRange AXIS™ New Features
Action Target continues its commitment of expanding its capabilities of SmartRange AXIS™, the industry’s most powerful and complete range management system. SmartRange Axis puts complete range control at the fingertips of a range manager. Our user-friendly interface gives unparalleled control over lane management, target systems, ventilation (HVAC), pre-programmed and advanced drills, a dedicated customer support team, and multiple options for target integration. Smart Range AXIS provides unmatched customer engagement and training value to the range owner.
As part of updates to SmartRange AXIS, Action Target has improved the resolution and live feed capabilities of the integrated target camera on our Genesis and Pilot retrievers, which customers can use to view—in real time—the target on the control screen at any distance, increasing shooting time. Additionally, Smart Range AXIS will now integrate with a larger 15” control screen in each stall, opposed to the 10” control screens used previously, allowing the target camera & control screen features to display concurrently.
While improving the user experience with updates to target visibility, Action Target has also integrated existing target systems to SmartRange AXIS to offer a wider range of training opportunities within the system. These include our fixed and inverted electric turning targets and DRM (dual running man) Pro targets. Range owners who utilize SmartRange AXIS can also manage custom stall LED lights from their master control system, unlocking additional branding and customization opportunities.
Shooting Stalls
Last year, Action Target introduced the CitadelTM shooting stall to its industry-leading shooting stalls lineup. Continuing to improve on our shooting stall offerings, Action Target will feature new brass deflectors, training barricades, and easy lift tables on our Defender stall. The updated brass deflectors come standard with adjustable height, ensuring effective blocking of any spent brass from entering adjacent stalls. The easy lift table allows for easy access for down range servicing of equipment or tactical training. Pilot Extreme
New this year to Action Target’s extensive offerings of target retrievers is the Pilot Xtreme—a retriever built for outdoor ranges and training. With electronics rated at IP64, it has been engineered to operate in the most remote locations in the world, allowing for efficient training in places where it may not have been previously feasible. With additional features designed specifically for outdoor use, the Pilot Xtreme creates more accessibility to high-quality training all over the world. This range makes up the first ever 14 lane UFC compliant modular military range and houses an elevated viewing/control room, an integrated ventilation system, 14 shooting lanes at a 25-yard shooting distance and first-of-its-kind, open interior structure, with no structural support columns down range, allowing cross lane and tactical shooting. A monumental moment in the history of range builds, the Offutt AFB range is engineered to look and operate like any other permanent structure facility, while gaining the benefits of a modular platform that can be redeployed to a new location when necessary.
