MERRILL, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Niclas Vaernhoej has been named assistant vice president – IT chief information security officer for Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I.1
Prior to joining Church Mutual, Vaernhoej served as the assistant vice president IT security at Nassau Financial Group, where he facilitated a healthy and productive dialogue between IT Operations and Enterprise Risk toward operational risk management. Vaernhoej has spent two decades of progressive experience in technical roles, organizational leadership and corporate management.
Vaernhoej holds an associate degree in applied science: system administration from Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as well as a bachelor’s degree in information systems security from American Public University System in Charles Town, West Virginia. He also holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
