According to GWM’s official data, global sales of HAVAL H6 reached 370,437 units in 2021, marking a new milestone for the company’s sales performance.
The HAVAL H6 ranked 7th in the list of the world’s best-selling SUVs in 2021 published by Focus2Move, an internationally renowned market research agency. It was also the only Chinese vehicle model in the top ten. In the Chinese market, the HAVAL H6 has already been the top seller in the SUV segment for more than 100 months.

By 2021, this model has evolved into the 3rd Gen HAVAL H6. The improved vehicle is based on the L.E.M.O.N. platform and is better in three areas: intelligence, safety, and performance.
As for intelligence, the top configuration of this model can realize automatic parking in various scenarios. Users do not have to worry about parking because the car can automatically park horizontally, vertically, and at an angle. In some markets, the electric tailgate also has a position memory function that enables remote opening, so users can easily remove and shop their daily supplies.
The intelligent configuration also makes the 3rd generation HAVAL H6 safer to drive. The latest ESP, built into the model, is designed to mitigate steep slopes and prevent rollover to a certain extent, keeping the car relatively stable even on snowfields and slippery roads. In addition, the 3rd generation HAVAL H6 has 360 HD panoramic images that provide the driver with all-around images of the vehicle’s surroundings using four-megapixel cameras, ensuring his or her safety.
In the global market, the 3rd generation HAVAL H6 is available in either petrol or hybrid versions, offering different performance experiences to users around the world. The first version is powered by a 2.0GDIT engine and a 2nd Gen 7DCT transmission, reaching a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, with more power, quicker response, and lower fuel consumption. The hybrid version with the 1.5T PHEV or HEV system improves fuel economy while being cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
Currently, the HAVAL H6 is sold in more than 50 countries and regions around the world, including South Africa, Chile, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Thailand. The model has been well received, especially the updated 3rd generation HAVAL H6, which has been highly praised by the authoritative media. Australian media Carsales called it “the best Chinese car in Australia so far”. Gabo Baeza, a journalist with Chilean media outlet Rutamotor, believes that HAVAL has taken a big leap forward in terms of smart technology and design, and is more competitive with other brands.
In the 10 years since its launch, the HAVAL H6 has won the favor of more than 3.5 million users worldwide. It will gradually take the lead in the global SUV market and accelerate GWM’s globalization.
