Meet Jovita Gabnienė, Managing Partner at GABNYS.GABNIENE

 

Our next guest, Jovita Gabnienė, will moderate two panel discussions at The Hipther Festival about diversity and inclusion to inspire women to enter tech industries and excel, also about NFTs and what this means fashion, luxury, or metaverse.

Jovita Gabnienė is an Attorney at Law, Managing partner of GABNYS.GABNIENĖ Law Boutique focused on Entertainment industries and Dispute resolution. Jovita specializes in Dispute Resolution and has significant experience in cross-border, commercial, corporate disputes, professional liability, and IP cases. She advises clients in the Fashion, Cinema, Leisure, and Tech industries on contracting, rights clearance, trademarks, designs, e-commerce, and various other issues that help to minimize the risk of litigation and regulatory action. Before starting to manage GABNYS.GABNIENĖ, Jovita was an associate partner at Ellex Valiunas, one of the biggest Baltic Law Firms, where she headed the Litigation and Investigations team and was highly regarded by colleagues and clients as a professional problem solver. Jovita also has extensive experience as a lecturer and moderator of discussions on innovative developments. She is constantly monitoring the latest developments in the Entertainment industry and keeps her professional training at a high pace. UK, US, EU Copyright Diploma from King’s College London and Leadership in Law Firms Certificate from Harvard Law School are the latest achievements on Jovita’s professional education list.
