BuzzBallz is a distillery, winery, and brewery founded in 2009. The company is operated by a family and is woman-owned. Over the last 10 years, BuzzBallz showed significant results and is now gaining worldwide popularity.
Being the only woman-owned distillery, winery, and brewery in the U.S., the company supports female talents such as Taylor Reimer, a professional midget car racer and University of Oklahoma student. BuzzBallz has been sponsoring Rimer since April. She wears branded racing suits and her car also carries the company logo.
Midget car racing is a racing style in which small, 400-kilogram racecars with 300-400 horsepower compete in speed and precision. The globally recognized midget car racing primarily takes place in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Reimer won six heat races and has shown exceptional results in most of her races. Despite her studies and her responsibility as a cheerleader for the University of Oklahoma, Reimer will continue racing until the end of the season under the brand’s logo.
“We’re super excited how the first half of the season went, and we look forward to continuing the rest of the year with BuzzBallz,” Reimer said.
Reimer shares a similar story with Merrilee Kick, CEO and founder of BuzzBallz, who also fought to push her way as a drinks producer into the “boys’ club”.
“Whenever I was a little girl, I knew there weren’t many female race car drivers, but that didn’t stop me,” Reimer said. “It lit a fire underneath me to show everyone that anyone can be a race car driver, male or female. I was never insecure, rather determined to break female stereotypes in racing and prove people wrong.” – commented Reimer.
“We have already made so much progress over the last couple of months and believe we will collect a podium by the end of the year,” Reimer said, explaining that she believes she will place in the top 3 at the end of a grand prix before the season is over.
