Latest 2021 Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition Pickups Honor the Marines

Ram is paying tribute to five branches of the U.S. military with a battalion of special-edition pickups. Celebrating the active service members, reserve members, and veterans who make up seven percent of the U.S. population, these thousands of 2021 Ram 1500 “Built to Serve Edition” come complete with unique paint colors and patriotic design cues. The latest models honor the Marines, featuring a choice between Tank and Flame Red exteriors.

Ram will introduce 1,000 copies of each color for the truck honoring the Marines. All models, including the trucks paying homage to the other military branches, feature black accents on the grille, bumpers, bezels, side steps, and exhaust tips. These details pair with unique 20-inch aluminum wheels and body-color wheel flares. A special “Built to Serve” decal can be found on the rear quarter panels. Paint colors vary depending on the military service branch you want to represent.

Army aficionados can choose between Gator and Diamond Black Crystal paint jobs, with 1,000 units allotted for each. For Navy trucks, Ceramic Gray and Patriot Blue are available, also 1,000 for each color. As we reported previously, the Air Force is represented by Anvil (1,250 units) and Billet Silver Metallic (1,500 units). Finally, Ram is offering 500 units each of Spitfire and Bright White paint colors for the Coast Guard.

In addition to cosmetic upgrades, the 4×4 Off-Road Group comes standard on these models. This package brings along all-terrain tires, an electronic-locking rear axle, beefy front and rear shock absorbers, skid plates, tow hooks, and other upgrades. The “Built to Serve Edition” package is available across all body styles and powertrains.

Inside the cabin, look for “Built to Serve” badging on the instrument panel, Black Onyx Chrome trim, and bolstered cloth and vinyl seats with “Built to Serve” Velcro panels. Buyers can personalize the interior with their own flags, patches, or slogans. Contrast color stitching also spices up the interior.

The order books for the latest trucks honoring the Marines open next month, and production will begin in Michigan in early 2021. Looks for these patriotic pickups in dealerships starting in the first quarter of 2021.
