New Appointment Builds on Strength of Healthcare Practice
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Perella Weinberg Partners (“PWP”) today announced that Ross Hammerman has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Advisory business. Based in New York, Mr. Hammerman will focus on advising clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
Mr. Hammerman joins PWP with two decades of investment banking experience, having most recently served as Global Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s Healthcare practice. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2016, Mr. Hammerman led the Global Life Sciences practice at UBS. He began his investment banking career at Citigroup and Lehman Brothers, primarily covering clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Mr. Hammerman is also a licensed medical doctor and was previously an Assistant Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at UT Southwestern in Dallas and Chief Resident in Ob/Gyn at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MD from New York University School of Medicine and an AB from Duke University.
