COLUMBIA, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–$FFMH–First Farmers and Merchants Corporation (OTC Pink: FFMH), the holding company for First Farmers and Merchants Bank, today announced that, because of the ongoing public health impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the recommendations and orders of federal, Tennessee and local authorities, as well as to support the health and well-being of our personnel and shareholders, we have decided to change the location of the Annual Shareholders Meeting of First Farmers and Merchants Corporation and to hold it as a virtual meeting accessible via webcast. Shareholders will not be able to attend the Annual Meeting in person. As previously announced, the Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., Central Time.
As described in the proxy materials for the Annual Meeting previously distributed to you on or about March 9, 2020, you are entitled to participate in the Annual Meeting if you were a shareholder of record as of the close of business on March 2, 2020, the record date, or hold a legal proxy for the meeting provided by your bank, broker or nominee. To be admitted electronically to the Annual Meeting, please visit http://www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/FFMH2020, where you will be required to enter the control number found on your proxy card. You may vote during the Annual Meeting by following the instructions available on the meeting website during the meeting.
