Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon Joins Efforts to Help Korea Overcome COVID-19 Crisis

SEOUL, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#COVID19–Hyosung decided to donate KRW 500 million ($418,000) and medical supplies to help the nation contain the spread of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19.

Hyosung (KRX:004800) donated to the Korean Red Cross 50,000 medical gloves and 3,000 bottles of hand sanitizer as well as the money to medical workers who care COVID-19 patients in Daegu, hit hardest by the virus in Korea, and its adjacent North Gyeongsang Province.

The money and medical supplies will be used to check the diffusion of the coronavirus.
