In 2018 the international Gfi Group acquired Realdolmen, one of the biggest Belgian IT players. Since then the entire management worked on the integration between Realdolmen and Gfi Belgium, and the overarching international integration of “Realdolmen, a Gfi Group company” within the Gfi Group.
With the first set of significant milestones of that integration completed, Marc De Keersmaecker, General Manager, has decided, to pass on the baton to Johnny Smets, currently managing director for the IT Consulting & Business Support organization. This succession is to take place as of January 1, 2020.
Johnny Smets will use the coming weeks, together with Marc, to further transition into his new role while entering into open consultation with his renewed management team, employees, customers and partners
