Any organization can nominate a city project or initiative that has been implemented, including the municipality itself, state or provincial agencies, solutions providers, and other partners. The annual awards highlight best practice examples of urban innovation with a particular focus on the use of technology (cloud, platforms, analytics, IoT, mobile solutions), data and analytics, unique partnerships and funding models, and/or community involvement. The winners of IDC’s 2020 SCNAA will be unveiled at an awards ceremony at Smart Cities Connect being held April 6-9, 2020 in Denver, Colorado.
