CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Legacybox, the simple and safe mail-in solution for digitally preserving analog media, today announced it has promoted Emily Holesinger, CPA to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Holesinger, who has nearly 15 years’ experience across finance and accounting, joined Legacybox earlier this year as Controller.
“Emily is an immensely talented financial professional and is the right fit to lead our finance team as we continue to scale to meet customer demand across the U.S.,” said Legacybox co-founders Nick Macco and Adam Boeselager. “Emily’s appointment to CFO strengthens our leadership team and positions us to continue to build on our success. Her creativity and financial capabilities will benefit our customers, employees, and business partners.”
Holesinger’s responsibilities as CFO include team guidance and leadership in managing GAAP financial statements, financial analytics and modeling, as well as planning and forecasting. She will be counted on to provide leadership and guidance in financial decision making across the organization.
Prior to joining Legacybox, Holesinger served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at U.S. Xpress, Inc. In this role, she led the team throughout the course of the company’s initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. She began her career as an auditor for multiple international Certified Public Accounting firms, including Grant Thornton LLP and RSM LLP. Upon exiting the public accounting arena, Holesinger served as VP of Finance for a shared services provider that supported a client base in various business sectors.
Holesinger joins Legacybox’s c-suite as it continues to expand capacity within its a three-acre, 52,000 square foot campus that is a temple to everything analog. The company has thrived largely aided by successful communication of how Legacybox makes it simple for all customers. Each Legacybox kit includes a step-by-step welcome guide, safety barcodes for every item and a pre-paid UPS® shipping label. Once it is filled, it is as simple as dropping Legacybox off at a UPS® location where it is shipped directly to the company.
Once the package arrives on the company’s campus, Legacybox’s team of professionals digitizes each item by hand and provides personalized updates at each step of the process. At the end, customers receive their original media back, along with perfectly preserved copies of their choosing (thumb drive, the cloud or DVDs).
