Dubai has become the synonym for rapid growth, and the local coffee market seems to be following the trend. It didn’t go unnoticed by KawePale, a fast-growing craft coffee producer based in Warsaw, Poland. The roastery will showcase its cold brew between the 29th and 31st October at Yummex 2019, the leading confectionery and snacks market trade show in the MENA region.
After establishing a strong presence on the home turf and setting up first foreign partnerships in Shanghai, Warsaw-based specialty coffee roastery KawePale decided to set foot in the Middle East. Although the coffee culture in the region dates back to the 15th century, its hotspot, Dubai, is thirsty for alternative brews like never before.
According to Gulf News, coffee outlets in the UAE have enjoyed ca. 70 per cent growth in recent years. Unsurprisingly, the local consumers seem to more and more enjoy the obvious coffee type choice for high temperatures – the cold brew. And not just the generic international brands, such as Starbucks, but high-quality artisanal beverages often served like beer – from a tap or in a bottle.
“Interestingly, what’s still unusual on our domestic market quickly becomes mainstream abroad. That’s why we decided to experiment with bottled cold brews. We can’t wait to hear what the local industry professionals will have to say about our new product” – said Piotr Wilczewski, founder and CEO of KawePale.
“We’re exhibiting at Yummex 2019 not only to find potential buyers on the local market but also to gather opinions on our current offer. Our ultimate goal is to make the final product as enjoyable for the end consumer as possible” – commented vice-president and barista at KawePale, Piotr Mietelski.
All coffee lovers who would like to try KawePale’s products are invited to stand Z5-N62 in hall ZAB5 at Dubai World Centre between the 29th and 31st October.
Meetings with KawePale team can be scheduled via email [email protected]. More information about the company is available on https://kawepale.pl/en/.
