ST. LOUIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Midwest Employers Casualty (MEC), a Berkley Company, announced the appointment of Nathan Cox as vice president of sales. Mr. Cox succeeds Steven Link, who is retiring. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Cox will be responsible for revenue, sales growth and market penetration and will lead the sales team in growing sales revenues while meeting or exceeding profitability and budgetary objectives. A veteran of MEC since 2002, Nathan has a strong background in the insurance industry and has held numerous positions in both sales and underwriting.
Commenting on the appointment, Timothy Galvin, president and chief operating officer of MEC, said, “Steve has led the team in building MEC into a significant business from its formation. Nathan earned a B.S. in Economics from Pittsburg State University as well as a Master of Science degree from Baker University.
