Appointed for their diverse skills and talents, Steve Houghland, Ben Mesander and Andy O’Dower join Wowza to strengthen the leadership team as the company continues its rapid growth. Additionally, Barry Owen has transitioned to a role as VP of solutions engineering and is driving professional service engagements.

Wowza VP of engineering, Mesander, leverages more than 30 years of experience in the engineering space to oversee the development and testing of all Wowza products and supporting technologies. His extensive expertise allows him to bring a unique understanding of various complex technologies and creative ways to improve the company’s product portfolio.
O’Dower, VP of product management, leads the innovation and day-to-day product management of Wowza’s product portfolio. A technology leader with over 15 years of experience, O’Dower has had success building, iterating and innovating online and mobile experiences with multiple product teams. He will be responsible for guiding the future of the product portfolio to meet the needs of the video streaming market.
