EASLEY, S.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Robinson Funeral Homes announces the groundbreaking ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 for its long-planned expansion of Robinson Memorial Gardens at 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Robinson Memorial Gardens currently offers burial spaces, cremation niches and glass-front niches, mausoleum crypts, the Veterans’ Garden of Honor, and individual plots situated on 80+ acres of rolling green hills in the Upstate. With extensive design work by Davis & Floyd, Robinson is pleased to begin construction on this expansion after years of planning. It will add 4.5 acres to the cemetery and incorporate a new Garden Mausoleum and Pavilion with 200 crypts, 368 niches, and over 2,600 new ground burial spaces. This unique mausoleum and pavilion will be the framework for many new cremation options, unlike any other in the Upstate.
Established in 1992 by Alfred B. Robinson with approximately 3400 burial spaces, Robinson Memorial Gardens has limited availability of these original offerings, so this expansion will enable families to have more choices for burial and cremation for years to come. To mark this milestone expansion, Robinson Memorial Gardens is offering pre-construction savings, which range from $400 on niches and burial spaces to $4000 on crypts. Savings will last until the construction is complete.
J. Davis has been awarded the contract for grading, curbing and new roads. Matthews Gibraltar Mausoleum & Construction Company will build the mausoleum, pavilion, niches and other cremation options.
