SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today, Paul Blanco’s Good Car Company responded to the Attorney General’s filing of a civil suit (RG19036081) vowing to fight the allegations made against the company. In the suit, the Attorney General’s office demands penalties for alleged practices that are widespread and commonplace in the auto industry. The complaint largely focuses on technicalities. For example, it accuses Paul Blanco’s Good Car Company of stating in radio ads that “everyone can get financing,” when in fact, not every single consumer can be financed. The action also relies on very old advertising that has not been in place for years.
