D.F. King Canada Welcomes Jonathan Pinto as New Business Head

Pinto has joined as Senior Vice President and Business Head. Based in Toronto, Pinto is responsible for overseeing the firm’s business strategy, driving revenue growth and maintaining strong relationships with issuers and the legal and investment banking communities.

Pinto brings progressive and cross-functional experience in the financial and shareholder services sectors, ranging from investment and corporate banking to investor relations. He has been responsible for leading organizations through critical organizational deliverables, facilitating annual general meetings and managing key stakeholder relationships.

While at Genworth, he assisted in capital market activities and served as the direct liaison to the CEO/CFO for the investment community, directing and overseeing all aspects of investor relations and rating agency management. His experience also includes senior roles in investor relations, treasury, investment banking and corporate banking, and equity research at Manulife, Société Générale, Citigroup and Scotia Capital.

Pinto earned a Master of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University.
