Accel Entertainment Announces Successful Acquisition of Grand River Jackpot

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Accel Entertainment, Inc. (“Accel” or the “Company”), a leading gaming-as-a-service provider, is pleased to announce that Accel has successfully completed its previously announced acquisition of Grand River Jackpot, LLC (“Grand River Jackpot”), one of the first licensed video game terminal operators in Illinois, for approximately $100 million in cash.

As announced on August 29, 2019 the acquisition of Grand River adds 1,893 video game terminals in 451 locations, with an expected growth rate of 10% by 2021. It accelerates near-term growth opportunities, including the addition of over 100 6th machine VGTs in existing high-performance locations and an increase in the current signed backlog, which is estimated to add 30 additional locations over the next two years.
