LoanMart Awards Financial Literacy Scholarship to Graduating High School Student
VAN NUYS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LoanMart is proud to announce that Anna Robbins is the winner of the 2019 LoanMart Financial Literacy Awareness Scholarship! She will receive $2,000 in academic funding to attend the University of Alabama, in the fall of 2019.
LoanMart’s Financial Literacy Awareness Scholarship allows young adults to showcase their financial expertise by helping others within their community. After her father passed unexpectedly, Robbins worked hard to help support her family and to learn the skills she needed to ensure her family’s financial security. She is mindfully conscious of tracking her expenses, managing her credit, and avoiding massive student debt. Robbins now intends to pass along her knowledge of developing an app that will allow other young adults to confidently manage their money and increase their credit worthiness.
Anna Robbins has demonstrated leadership, community involvement, and successful financial planning throughout her academic career. Her ambitious desire to pursue higher education and improve financial literacy in her community has earned her academic funding to study Business with a minor in Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama. She is now closer than ever to becoming a successful litigation lawyer.
LoanMart annually awards $2,000 to a deserving graduating high school student pursuing an undergraduate degree. This money will go towards education at the college or university attended by the scholarship winner. LoanMart will continue the Financial Literacy Awareness Scholarship in the year 2020.
