UBS Private Wealth Advisor Leslie Lauer Named to Barron’s 2019 Top 100 Women Financial Advisors

Annual Barron’s Ranking Recognizes Lauer for Expertise and Quality of Client Service

COLUMBUS, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Leslie Lauer, Managing Director—Wealth Management for the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Group at UBS Private Wealth Management, has once again been named one of the Top 100 Women Financial Advisors in the United States by Barron’s. This is Lauer’s fourth consecutive year on the ranking.

“Leslie is a dedicated and experienced Private Wealth Advisor focused on assisting her clients with complex business transition and wealth management planning requirements,” said Robert Karem, Private Wealth Management Market Head for Atlanta at UBS Financial Services Inc. “She and her team at the ESOP Group have handled more ESOPs than any other team in the country, and she could not be more deserving of this recognition by Barron’s.”

Lauer has been with the ESOP Group since 2006 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She focuses on all aspects of private wealth management, multi-generational estate planning, liability management and philanthropy for high-net worth families and business owners.

The ESOP Group manages nearly $3.5 billion in assets and has offices in Atlanta, Georgia, and Columbus, Ohio, where Lauer resides. The team specializes in working with business owners on the structure and sale of their privately held businesses to an ESOP to create liquidity and diversification for owners, while enhancing the solutions available to the company and employees.

Barron’s Top 100 Women Financial Advisors ranking is based on the volume of assets overseen by the advisors and their teams, revenues generated for the firms and the quality of the advisors’ practices.
