BrightQuest Treatment Centers Earns Gold Seal of Approval® From The Joint Commission

BrightQuest San Diego Honored With Prestigious Behavioral Health Care Accreditation

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BrightQuest San Diego, a long-term treatment center for individuals suffering from complex mental illness, has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for behavioral health care accreditation by demonstrating compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care.

BrightQuest San Diego underwent a rigorous on-site survey where compliance with behavioral health care standards related to several areas: care, treatment, and services; environment of care; leadership; and screening procedures for the early detection of imminent harm. On-site observations and interviews also were conducted.

Under the guidance and leadership of Executive Director Melissa Stevenson, MA, LMFT, BrightQuest San Diego focuses on long-term, sustainable change in a community-based setting, where individuals develop the skills necessary to build a life of independence and relationship. The continuum of care at BrightQuest San Diego includes Residential Treatment, Transitional Living, Semi-Independent Living, Outpatient Services, and Family Therapy and Family Consultation.

“We are honored to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. Our team at BrightQuest San Diego has been working very hard to provide supportive, specialized care to the countless families and individuals who come to us in need of help,” said Stevenson. “This recognition is a reflection of our commitment to the quality of care we provide and to the clients, families, and community we serve.”
