Bank of America Announces New Extras Rewards Program for Major League Baseball

Launching During All-Star Week, Customers Receive Exclusive Rewards in and Outside of the Ballpark

CHARLOTTE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As the official bank of Major League Baseball (MLB), Bank of America today unveiled Bank of America Extras, a program that rewards customers with unique baseball experiences, exclusive access and discounts, so they have the power to get more of what they love all season long.

Extra innings discount at MLB Shop

Beginning July 1, customers who use their Bank of America credit or debit card will receive a 25 percent discount on their team’s gear for 24 hours at MLBshop.com/bankofamericaextras each time their team goes into extra innings.

MLB player-inspired merchandise

With a deep presence in major league hometowns, Bank of America has partnered with MLB and players from all 30 teams to design 30 custom T-shirts that celebrate each of the teams and cities. This launch of the Bank of America Extras program comes in advance of the 2019 MLB All-Star Week, taking place July 5-9 in Cleveland, Ohio, where customers will be able to enjoy an interactive fan experience, games, rewards and prizes at Play Ball Park. Bank of America is supporting the 2019 All-Star Game in Cleveland while it is growing its footprint in Ohio.
