More than 100 executives will convene next month for this year’s Government Health Care Congress (#GHCC19) from July 16-17. The Government Health Care Congress, consisting of Medicare and Medicaid Summits, brings together health plans, providers, government agencies, and community organizations to develop strategies that promote growth and quality among government-sponsored health care programs.
The two-day Congress will feature sessions led by top executives in the health care industry, including a keynote by former Chairman and CEO of Molina Healthcare, J. Mario Molina, MD. Dr. Molina earned his Doctorate from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and has over 25 years of experience in both Medicaid and Managed Care. He served for 20 years as the CEO of Molina Healthcare, a Fortune 500 insurance company. In 2005, Molina was recognized as one of Time Magazine’s most influential Hispanics in America.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Molina to our speaking faculty at the Government Health Care Congress and to offer our attendees the opportunity to gain insights on growing Medicaid costs and why he is a supporter of ‘health care for all’,” said Gina Glendening, Vice President, Product Development at World Congress. “We welcome executives from across the health care ecosystem to join us for Molina’s exclusive keynote presentation, as well as, unmatched networking and educational opportunities.”
In addition, attendees will learn from experts and industry leaders including Aetna, Anthem, AmeriHealth Caritas, Centene, Florida Blue, Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), and UPMC Health Plan, among others. The Medicaid and Medicare Summits also features representation from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. House of Representatives.
The two track structure of the meeting gives attendees the opportunity to participate in a customized experience that shares insights and best-practices from key-stakeholders in both Medicare (15th Annual) and Medicaid (9th Annual), while discussing political and regulatory impacts across the scope of government-sponsored programs.
