LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#fireflydigital–Mike Spears, CEO of Firefly Digital, Inc. and Smart Choice Technologies, Inc., was awarded the Internet Conference’s “Top 50 Tech Leader” award at its inaugural conference last week at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
Spears and the many accomplished recipients of the InterCon “Top 50 Tech Leaders Award” were recognized in five distinct areas of accomplishment: overall reach, industry impact, spirit of innovation, future readiness, and market demand.
In 1998, Spears co-founded Firefly Digital, a digital marketing agency with a long history of innovation in digital marketing and custom web application development, including the design and development of the first content management system (CMS) for non-technical users, as well as many unique business web applications for its clients.
Spears is also the CEO of Smart Choice Technologies and led the merger of Firefly Digital and Smart Choice in 2018. The innovative Smart Choice platform is the nation’s most advanced online SaaS admissions platform that provides integrated and comprehensive registration, enrollment, school choice, early childhood development and unified enrollment solutions for public, charter and private PreK-12 schools and school districts.
