Black Construction Corporation Awarded $122 Million Wastewater Treatment Plant Project in Guam

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil, building and specialty construction company, announced today that its subsidiary, Black Construction Corporation (BCC), has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $122 million by the Guam Waterworks Authority for the Upgrade of the Northern Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Village of Dededo, Guam. The project scope of work includes the complete construction of new secondary wastewater treatment facilities at the Northern District Wastewater Treatment Plant, as well as upgrades and repurposing of certain existing infrastructure and facilities at the plant.

Work is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2019 with substantial completion anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2021. The contract value will be included in the Company’s second quarter 2019 backlog.
