NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Seward & Kissel LLP announced today that Rhona
Kisch has joined the firm as a partner in the Real Estate Group.
In her wide-ranging practice, Kisch advises financial institutions,
investors, developers, property owners, and tenants on commercial real
estate acquisitions, sales, financings, construction, and leases. Her
work spans office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and multifamily
housing, among other property types.
“Rhona’s expertise in financing and corporate structuring aligns
tremendously with Seward & Kissel’s core offerings,” said Seward &

Cofer. “Her experience will be a valuable asset not only to clients
of our real estate practice, but to the firm’s broader client base as

Kisch’s real estate work includes counseling clients on REITs, corporate
structuring, warehouse financings, syndications, private equity, work
outs, and bankruptcy matters. She has developed significant experience
negotiating leases and other agreements involving communications
facilities and equipment, such as switch facilities, rooftop antennas,
and collocation spaces. She has testified before committees of the U.S.
Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Kisch received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law,
and holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado. She also performed
post-graduate work in environmental and natural resources law at the
Northwestern University School of Law at Lewis & Clark College. She
comes to Seward & Kissel from Hahn & Hessen LLP, where she was a partner
and head of the firm’s real estate practice.
