features impact-resistance, a multi-point lock, and smart-tech
keyless-entry. This combination of options will be available on the
brand’s Estate
Entrances by WinDoor products.
The locking system features electronic smart-lock technology that allows
for keyless entry to a home. The handle sets are controlled by
touch-to-open Bluetooth technology, an app on a smartphone, or a key
fob. When activated, multiple bolts within the lock are engaged and
secure the impact-resistant door panel into the frame.
The high-end electronic lock is available in multiple styles that mirror
WinDoor’s commitment to quality and timeless elegance. Bluetooth
technology makes it possible for homeowners to remotely lock and unlock
a door when in range. Another innovative feature includes the ability to
share and withdraw authorization using eKeys, providing homeowners with
peace of mind by knowing who has access to their home.
PGT Innovations has exclusive rights to use the hardware on
impact-resistant products in the window and door industry. The lock,
manufactured by Baldwin, a leading provider of hardware for doors, will
be used primarily on the Estate Entrances by WinDoor impact-resistant
entrance doors.
