Features CLE on Key Topics, Networking, Tech Show and other Adventures
ADA, Okla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LegalShield, the leading provider of affordable legal plans and the
IDShield identity theft solution for individuals, families and small
businesses, announced that it will hold its third annual legal
conference Elevate by LegalShield on June 20 – 22, 2019, at the Grand
Hyatt Denver. Lawyers from LegalShield’s panel of provider law firms and
its legal referral network will come together for Continuing Legal
Education (CLE), to learn from powerful speakers, network with their
peers and see the latest technology.
“Elevate is an excellent venue for lawyers to share their passion to
close the justice gap and continue their legal education, network and
learn more about LegalShield directly from the company’s leadership
team,” said Keri Norris, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
at LegalShield.
Keynote speakers include Jeff Bell, CEO of LegalShield; Jack Newton, CEO
and Founder of Clio; Patrick Palace of Palace Law; and Mary Juetten
Founder and CEO of Traklight. Additionally, Michael Medina and Steven
Weinberger (Davis, Miles, McGuire & Gardner) will speak on Catastrophic
Personal Injury, and Paul Scarsella (Maguire Schneider & Hassay) will
share “How the Godfather and 20 years of Murder Cases Taught Me
Professionalism.”
LegalShield designed the Elevate agenda to focus on the most relevant
issues to lawyers and how they can grow their business through tech,
referrals and knowledge. Elevate’s CLE sessions focus on timely,
relevant topics that are disrupting the industry. Subjects will include
cannabis legalization presented by LegalShield Referral Attorney Vince
Imhoff (Imhoff & Associates) leading a panel of 7 attorneys; immigration
law by LegalShield Attorneys David Cowan (Parker Stanbury) and Yalissa
Alfaro (Mattleman, Weinroth & Miller), how AI and analytics are changing
litigation by Chris Schoenbauer (Thomson Reuters), and many more. The
cost to attend Elevate is only $199 and includes up to 12 CLEs and
several meals. CLEs are generally about $50 per hour, giving Elevate a
CLE value of about $600.
Social networking is promoted through fun adventures. Attendees can
bookend the two days of jam-packed learning and networking, with an
outdoor excursion and a private 1.5-mile tour through Denver’s RiNo Art
District, including a microbrew tour and networking event.
Elevate will also feature the Tech Show, a legal tech exhibition.
