– Payments innovator adds additional sales resource –
GLASTONBURY, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Payrailz™,

of industry veteran James Kern as VP, chief sales officer. Kern’s
appointment reflects the company’s rapid market traction in addition to
continually adding experienced leadership to keep up with the strong
demand for the company’s technology.
As chief sales officer, Kern will manage all of the company’s sales
efforts, working closely with Payrailz founder’s CEO Fran Duggan and
chief business development officer Rich Pelikan. He will develop and
execute the overall strategic sales plan, as well as manage the direct
and channel sales teams. Working in tandem with the marketing, client
experience, and product teams, Kern will also be responsible for
ensuring we are helping our clients to deliver best in class payment
experiences.
Kern has more than 25 years of senior-level executive experience in
sales, account management and business development. He has served in
leadership roles at a number of industry-leading fintech companies,
including Infosys, OneBridge (now part of Vantiv), Open Solutions (now
part of Fiserv), BT Global Services and the Bisys Group. Most recently,
Kern founded a consulting company, Results Performance Management, where
he offered sales, leadership and performance-based advisory services to
a wide array of fintech companies.
