DHL Brings Interactive Beethoven Exhibit to New York City

–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BTHVNonTour—WHAT: To help commemorate Ludwig von Beethoven’s 250th
birthday, DHL, the world’s largest logistics company, is bringing the
life and work of Ludwig von Beethoven to several American cities this
year through the global
BTHVN tour. The second stop is at Steinway Hall, New York City.

Media preview will include a short concert, starting at 11
a.m., by The Lee Trio — Lisa Lee, violinist, Angela Lee, cellist,
and Steinway Artist Melinda Lee Masur, pianist. -
Executives from the Chelsea Music Festival, Steinway & Sons,
Beethoven-Haus Bonn and DHL will be available for interviews during
the media preview.
WHEN: Thursday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE: Steinway Hall, 1133 6th Avenue, New
York, NY 10036
WHY: The exhibit is designed to give an insight into Beethoven’s
life, work, and influence and will include unique exhibits from the
Beethoven-Haus Bonn collection. This is a family-friendly event that
will include an interactive media/music exhibit featuring high-quality
replicas of Beethoven’s instruments, including a replica of his 1817
Broadwood pianoforte which will only be on display during the exhibit’s
New York stop at Steinway Hall – and several historical-artifacts from
Beethoven-Haus Bonn.

EXHIBIT TIMES: The BTHVN on Tour exhibition is free and open 9
a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 5
p.m. Sunday.
