Pinnacle Treatment Centers Opens Hamilton Treatment Services in New Jersey

Leading Recovery Provider Offers Affordable Opioid Treatment to
Hamilton Township

HAMILTON, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–lt;a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/addictiontreatment?src=hash” target=”_blank”gt;#addictiontreatmentlt;/agt;–Pinnacle
Treatment Centers
(PTC), a leader in providing accessible treatment
for adult men and women struggling with substance use disorders, has
opened Hamilton Treatment Services, located at 3444 Quakerbridge Road,
building 1A, in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Hamilton Treatment Services is Pinnacle’s latest opioid treatment
program (OTP) in the Garden State. Pinnacle’s programs in New Jersey now
include a total of seven OTPs, five office-based opioid treatment
programs, and one intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization center.

Pinnacle is one of a select few treatment facilities in the area to
provide underserved communities with affordable substance abuse
treatment and the option of outpatient care. This ambulatory model of
care empowers patients to take control of their treatment as it affords
them the opportunity to still maintain employment, school obligations
and family commitments while getting the treatment necessary to address
their recovery.

“Given the opioid epidemic throughout the state, there is a drastic need
for treatment. Our company is committed to bringing care directly into
the community to help solve this crisis,” said Joe Pritchard, CEO of
Pinnacle Treatment Centers, who made his personal journey through
recovery and is now dedicated to helping others. Pritchard recognizes
the need for outpatient programs that are designed to offer support in
managing stress and providing patients with relapse prevention
strategies, while connecting them with community support.

“The opioid crisis is unprecedented in its scope and devastating in its
intensity. Our response must be equally broad in scope and intensity,” Attorney
General Gurbir Grewal
stated during a press conference announcing NJ
Cares
, an initiative that shares overdose statistics in real time
and access to a 24/7 statewide opioid response team.

According to data published by NJ Cares, the state may eclipse
3,000 drug related fatalities in 2019. The increase is almost entirely
blamed on the opioid crisis. Hamilton Township Mayor, Kelly Yaede stated
“It is so important for communities all across our state and nation to
have resources, such as treatment centers, to help those who are
battling addiction, particularly when it comes to the opioid epidemic.
We welcome Hamilton Treatment Services to our community and hope that
they, along with other organizations, can help us win the fight against
opioid abuse and addiction.”

Pinnacle’s Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Hamilton
Treatment Services, Christopher Johnston, MD, said “We believe in
delivering the best possible care in an environment that’s conducive to
growth and healing. We meet patients where they are and offer
compassionate treatment in the way that works best for them.”

Hamilton Treatment Services accepts Medicaid and has the capacity to
serve 450 patients on a daily basis. Its experienced team of licensed
clinicians is committed to battling the opioid crisis in New Jersey with
a range of treatment services including medication-assisted treatment
(MAT), Methadone, Buprenorphine, and individual, group and family
counseling with flexible hours.

For individuals undergoing MAT who require additional therapeutic
support beyond what is provided in individual and group therapy,
Hamilton Treatment Services will offer a more intensive outpatient
program three days per week, three hours at a time, with a wide variety
of group counseling sessions.

Located in a discreet setting close to public transportation, this
state-of-the-art facility represents a leap forward in how opioid
treatment is offered in New Jersey. “Our waiting room is open, light,
and appealing. It feels more like home or even a modern primary care
doctor’s office than a medication dispensary, complete with overstuffed
couches and chairs, hardwood floors, and large, easy-to-read,
flat-screen appointment boards that let our patients know their status,”
Dr. Johnston added.

Patients receive cutting-edge addiction treatment services in private
offices and conference rooms designed with healing and comfort in mind.
