LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pacific
Avenue Capital Partners, LLC (“Pacific Avenue”), a Los Angeles-based
private investment firm, announced that John “Jack” Marut joined the
firm. Jack joins the firm as a Senior Associate who will focus his
efforts on deal evaluation, due diligence and execution, and portfolio
operations.

have a strong, defensible offering, where there is an opportunity to
drive operational or strategic change (i.e. corporate carve-outs,
legacy/generational management transitions, an evolving market/industry,
growth challenges, etc.). The team has an ability to effectively
navigate difficult, complicated and time sensitive transactions. Pacific
Avenue looks for assets in the following sectors; general industrials,
building products, healthcare services, business services, automotive,
and aerospace & defense. Investment size ranges from $50 million to $350
million in enterprise value.
Prior to joining Pacific Avenue, Jack Marut served as an Associate at
KPS Capital Partners, LP, where his responsibilities included deal
evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio maintenance. Prior to KPS, Jack
was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials Group at Nomura.
Jack holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting from Boston College.
