Hope Services Names Nivisha Mehta as Director of Development

Mehta brings broad philanthropic experience to the leading Bay Area
nonprofit

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hope

, the leading organization improving the quality of life for
people with developmental disabilities in the Bay Area, has hired
Nivisha Mehta, a longtime consultant and executive to nonprofits, as
Director of Development. In this role, she will help increase giving
from individuals, corporations, and foundations which is vital to
bridging the gap from government sources of funding.

Nivisha brings 18 years of experience to Hope Services with a focus on
fundraising, grant writing, special event planning, sponsorships,
marketing, program strategy and development for nonprofits. She served
in similar roles for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and for
Alum Rock Counseling Center.

She also served as a Philanthropy Officer for the El Camino Hospital
Foundation for over nine years, and as a board member for the
Association of Fundraising Professionals, an organization for which she
chaired the board of directors in 2015, and currently serves as
Secretary of the International AFP Board.
