LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–lt;a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/allenmatkins?src=hash” target=”_blank”gt;#allenmatkinslt;/agt;–Allen
Matkins, a California-based full service real estate and business
law firm, announced today that Paul
W. Nash, Ariel
Shaeps, and Elizabeth
J. Wilgenburg have been elected to the firm partnership, effective
July 1, 2019. Paul practices out of the firm’s San Francisco office and
represents clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters,
including purchase and sales, financing, and leasing. Ari, whose
practice focuses on complex construction matters, and Elizabeth, who has
worked on some of the largest office lease deals on the West Coast, are
both located in the firm’s Century City office.
“Paul, Ari, and Liz represent the depth, breadth, and diverse experience
Allen Matkins and its renowned real estate department have to offer.
They are prime examples of how our firm provides the necessary resources
to younger attorneys eager to expand their expertise and enhance their
client service,” says David
L. Osias, managing partner of Allen Matkins. “All three of them have
served as lead counsel on some of California’s most notable real estate
projects so their elevation to partnership is well-deserved.”
Paul Nash
Paul has a highly diverse real estate practice, allowing him to provide
effective legal counsel on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and
leasing matters for a variety of clients. He uses a business-oriented
approach to his transactional work representing buyers, sellers,
borrowers, lenders, and landlords in all facets of commercial property
acquisition, financing, development, leasing and management.
Paul is an Eagle Scout, and he spent two years as a voluntary missionary
in Costa Rica. His current community service includes holding leadership
positions in his church and serving on the Board of the San Francisco
Bay Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Ari Shaeps
Ari is one of the firm’s lead construction attorneys with a specialty in
complex commercial and residential development, including all facets of
design and construction. He has successfully negotiated and closed a
variety of highly sophisticated transactions totaling over $7 billion in
design and construction all over the West Coast, including various
trophy projects such as Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.
Given the breadth and scope of his representative work, Ari has worked
with many of the nation’s top architects and contractors and is often
leaned upon for market guidance on many economic and “quasi-business”
related issues. In addition, Ari has experience on a wide range of real
estate and commercial issues, including the review, analysis, and
preparation of documents associated with acquisition and leasing
transactions.
Elizabeth Wilgenburg
Elizabeth’s practice includes both lease transactions as well as
acquisitions and dispositions. She specializes in representing landlords
in connection with large lease transactions with technology-oriented
tenants and is sought after by many institutional owners for
representation on these matters. Elizabeth has leased over 17 million
square feet of space since joining Allen Matkins and represented the
landlords on the three largest leases in the history of the City of San
Francisco, including Facebook’s lease at Park Tower, Dropbox’s lease at
The Exchange, and Salesforce’s lease at Salesforce Tower.
