Indianapolis area of Greenwood, located at 7750 Madison Avenue in
Indianapolis. The Greenwood-area clinic is the organization’s 25th

The Greenwood clinic comes in response to meeting the needs in an

Spero Health’s Central Indiana medical director, Dr. Darrin Mangiacarne,

this new location. Double board-certified in family medicine and
addiction medicine, Dr. Mangiacarne was the co-chair of the Indiana
Attorney General’s Task Force and is the current president of the
Indiana Society of Addiction Medicine.
According to the CDC, Indiana saw some of the nation’s biggest spikes in
drug-related overdose deaths in 2017 as more than 1,800 people died.
That is a 37% increase from the year before and a 75% increase the last
10 years. The state has expanded resources to address the epidemic, and
