BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets asset manager, today
announced that Vinay Mendiratta has joined the firm as a Managing
Director. Based in Boston, Mr. Mendiratta will focus on business
development with distribution partners in the US to help private clients
achieve their private markets objectives.

Mr. Mendiratta has nearly 30 years of experience in private equity and
alternatives distribution in both the wealth management and
institutional channels. Prior to joining HarbourVest, he was Head of
Wealth Management Sales at Adams Street Partners, responsible for
strategy and development of the firm’s wealth management business.
Before that, Mr. Mendiratta held the role of Head of Wealth Management
Platform Distribution at York Capital Management. His other experience
includes leadership positions at ING Investment Management, Merrill
Lynch Investment Managers, among other Firms.
Mr. Mendiratta received a BA in Economics and Political Science from
Duke University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.
